Terms, Conditions & Warranty Information

Customer Responsibilities

1. Project colours need to be picked and communicated to Sienna Painting at least 14 days prior to your projects scheduled start date to ensure paint availability.

2. Last minute colour changes may result in postponed projects and/or additional charges if paint has already been purchased for your project.

3. A 30% deposit is required prior to scheduling a project. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of your project.

4. Unless otherwise specified in this contract, customers are required to remove furniture/obstructions from areas being painted prior to project start date. If furniture cannot be removed from the room, it needs to be moved to the centre to allow at least 2 feet of clearance around areas being painted. Appliances also need to be removed from kitchens if we are painting kitchen cabinets.

5. Sienna Painting representatives may help advise colour choices, but any final colour choices are the sole responsibility of the customer.

6. Deposits are refundable up to 10 days after deposit is received. Deposits are not refundable after 10 days once received, however these deposits can be applied to a different/future project.

 

 

Additional Work/Charges

1. Any additional work not specifically included in agreed upon quote will be charged at an hourly rate of $50/man hour plus materials.

2. Coverage is never guaranteed for one coat options, shades of white or very deep/dark colours.

3. If paint does not cover 100% in the quoted number of coats there will be an additional charge to apply more coats.

4. Up to 2 colours are included in quoted price. If more than 2 colours are chosen there will be an additional charge of $100 per colour.

 

 

Written Guarantee

1. 5-year guarantee applies to all interior surfaces and exterior surfaces that have not been previously painted (apart from factory finish), also excludes wood surfaces.

2. On previously painted surfaces, excluding wood surfaces, written guarantee is for 3 years.

3. All guarantees are based off normal wear and tear on painted surfaces.

4. Paint failures due to rough physical contact such as dents and scratches are not covered under our guarantee.

5. Any guarantee is immediately considered void if an agreement is not paid in full.

No guarantee is offered on horizontal surfaces or wrought iron / metal surfaces.
